I Would love to win this to repay my husband of 42 years of marriage. October 15 2017 we took a trip with or three 13 year old grandchildren to Autumn Glory Festival in Oakland Md. While we were there we Hiked to the two falls in deep creek lake Md. While walking from one fall to the other I fell backwards on the rocks. I seemed fine the next day we went to the craft show in town and the parade which was a perfect day for all. When I woke up the next day my body was very sore we were leaving that day so I thought everything was going to be OK. Two days later my husband took me to my PCP he told me that I strained my muscles and gave me muscle relaxers. During the next two weeks my body was not getting any better it was getting worse. On October 31 Halloween I came down stairs for the first time in two weeks I love giving candy the children who come trick-or treating I made it to the door one time and I hurt so bad I could not do it again so I sat with my husband Dave while he gave out the candy. He went to walk me up the stairs after the children were done trick-or-treating. When I went to walk up the stairs I realized
I could not lift my legs to go up the steps, I had to crawl up them to get up stairs. The next morning Dave said I had to go to the hospital. He helped me take a shower and I realized I could not lift my arms up. When I went to the Hospital GBMC in Md. They took many blood tests , Xrays, CT SCANS, and other various tests. There result was I had Rhabdomyolysis which direct or indrect mussle injury which can lead to kidney failure or even death. I was very sick and in the hospital until the day before Thanksgiving. I was on oxygen and on dialysis. I came home with both things. My husband could not have been better then any else in the world. When it came to my care he took over, he did everything for me. When the Hospital was ready to release me they wanted me to go to a rehab center, he researched the Center and told my Doctor I was not going to go to it because it had terrible reviews. The Rehab center my husband wanted me to go to did not have Dialysis so I could not go there. Dave told the doctors he was taking me home and had a nurse and rehab. come to the house and three times a week for 4 hours a day he took me to dialysis. I have known my husband for 54 years and we have been married for 42 years. I can honestly say he saved my life, and cared for me for several months. He cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the whole family, he shopped for Christmas, he decorated the house, he cooked Christmas dinner for the family, plus he took care of me. I would really love to win this Christmas contest show my husband how much I truly love him and how much I care for all the things he has done for me in our lifetime together.

I would love to win because my family and I love all of the Christmas shows. This is when the family comes together. See am disabled and my oldies daughter and her husband and there son lives with me he is four years old and so exited about Christmas, my daughter has been thru a lot.. She had Emmanuel in 2014 that’s when it all really began in her life she was in a comma, then she had to get on Dialysis the she became blind in one eye now her other one is not as strong as it use to be.so this
win will help me give her the best vacation she ever had for Christmas.
