How to Participate: To enter WAOW Contest, candidates needs to visit online entry page and provide your contact information and Date of snow will melt off of Rib Mountain. Also submit your entry via mail with personal details and prediction (the last date there is snow on Rib Mountain in the Spring or Summer of 2023) to “Snowmelt Contest,” WAOW-TV, 1908 Grand Avenue, Wausau WI 54403.
Eligibility: The Waow.com Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States and a county within the WAOW viewing area: Juneau, Adams, Wood, Jackson, Portage, Waushara, Waupaca, Marathon, Clark, Taylor, Shawano, Menominee, Langlade, Lincoln, Iron, Ashland, Vilas, Price, Oneida, Forest, and Florence, who have reached the age of 18 years old at the time of entry.
Duration: The WAOW Rib Mountain Snowmelt Contest begins on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 7:00 AM Central Time and ends on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 11:59 PM Central Time or earlier if all of the snow atop Rib Mountain has already melted.
