Eligibility: The Metallicamarchingband.com Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age or older, and an authorized representative of the marching band of a high school or college at the time of entry.

Duration: The Metallica Marching Band Competition begins on April 10, 2023 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) and ends on November 16, 2023 at 11:59pm PST.
Voting Duration: The Voting for the contest begins on November 17, 2023 at 07:00am PST and ends on December 31, 2023 at 11:59pm PST.

Metallica Marching Band Competition Winner Drawing & Prizes:
Collegiate Division 1 Prize:
- Customized Package of Musical Equipment of Sponsor’s Choosing. The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Prize is $75,000.
Collegiate Division 2 & 3 Prize:
- Customized Package of Musical Equipment of Sponsor’s Choosing. The ARV of the Collegiate Division 2 & 3 Prize is $40,000.
High School Prizes:
- Customized Package of Musical Equipment of Sponsor’s Choosing for bands with less than (75) seventy-five members. The ARV of the High School Prize is $15,000.
- Customized Package of Musical Equipment of Sponsor’s Choosing for bands with (75) seventy-five to (124) one-hundred and twenty four members. The ARV of the High School Prize is $15,000.
- Customized Package of Musical Equipment of Sponsor’s Choosing for bands with (125) one-hundred and twenty-five members or more. The ARV of the High School Prize is $15,000.
Fan Favorite – Collegiate Division Prize:
