My daughter on her bday takes her 9 yr old son and 19 yr old daughter out to do random acts of kindness. Instead of bday gifts for herself they take donuts to police station,cookies to the fire dept. Flowers to the nursing homes in the area. Also place bottles of bubbles on a random picnic table in the park and leave quarters in the bubblegum machines at the grocery store for surprised kids to find!! She’s an RN and loves helping others at all time!

I would really love to win this prize. I am at home on hospice right now and have been stressed about christmas for my grandkids and family. My husband died before Christmas on 2015. He had been sick with Cancer and sepsis for three years before he passed. I was diagnosed with Cancer the month after my husband died. I had been at the hospital with him forthree months.My sons had no time to morn their dad before I was also sick with lung, liver, and bone cancer. I had been thru Chemo, radation treatment for the last three years. I am in very tight financial situation with house payments, medical insurance and all without the help of the love of my life who always had my back. I go to the food pantry now and it is very humbling. Byt I will do what I have to to survive. Ellen I could use your help….I know you do alot for people. I would like to nominate my sister also. She helps me all she can and takes care of our elderly mother also. I am beyound grateful to her and love her beyound what words can say . Please help us Ellen.
