How to Participate: To Participate AFSA High School Contest, candidates needs to visit online entry page and follow instruction to complete registration form including your valid personal details to receive entries.
Eligibility: The AFSA.com Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States or the District of Columbia, who must be attending a public, private, or parochial school.
Duration: The AFSA Essay Contest begins on February 13, 2024 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) and ends on June 23, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

AFSA Essay Contest Winner Drawing & Prizes:
(1) Grand Prize Winner:
- $2,500 to the writer of the winning essay, in addition to an all-expense paid trip to the nation’s capital from anywhere in the U.S. for the winner and his or her parents, and an all-expense paid educational voyage courtesy of Semester at Sea.
(1) Runner-Up Prize Winners:
- $1,250 and a full tuition to attend a summer session of National Student Leadership Conference’s International Diplomacy program.
